Sharon Thern

I have over 20 years of sales and marketing experience. I've been a Real Estate Broker in Waupaca County since 1999. My market knowledge and drive has led me to be one of the leading producers in the Waupaca area. My client's needs are my number one concern. I am diligent and persistent, and a smooth, trouble-free transaction is my ultimate goal.

Having lived in the Waupaca area all my life I am very familiar with its communities, countryside and lakes. My husband Randy and I have four children, Natasha, Ryan, Solia and Marina. Our two youngest are adopted, Solia from Kazakhstan and Marina from the Ukraine. We all enjoy traveling as a family. My hobby is scuba diving with a flair for underwater photography.

I have helped coach a variety of youth sports over the years and enjoy a good game of volleyball myself. I served as a Director for the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce for 3 years and also helped organize and run Strawberry Fest and Fall-O-Rama. I have also been heavily involved in the Waupaca Area Youth Hockey Association for the past 11 years.

Not only do I hold my Real Estate Broker's license, but I also hold the CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist) and the ABR-designation (Accredited Buyer Representative). I've taken the extra steps to give you the best possible service.

If you should have any questions about buying, selling or just need to know something about the area, give me a call or send me an e-mail. I am available to you.

Dave Shambeau

Dave has over twenty years of marketing and finance experience to help you buy or sell real estate.

A Waupaca native, Dave graduated from Waupaca High School in 1982. Following high school he attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing. In 1983, Dave obtained his State of Wisconsin Real Estate Broker's license.

Following college, Dave worked at US Bank located in downtown Milwaukee for twelve years working in a variety of finance and marketing related positions, ending his career as a Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Group.

Since 1999, Dave has been a successful Realtor in the Waupaca area and a consistent top producer. Over the years, he has successfully marketed and sold almost every type of real estate available within the area. In real estate sales, experience does matter and Dave has it.

Dave and his wife Stephanie have three children. Tom was born in 1995, Mike in 1999 and Sarah in 2001. They reside in the City of Waupaca and the children attend Waupaca schools.

As a child, Dave spent summers at his family cottage on Rainbow Lake. Because of those fond memories, he now spends time with his own family at their cottage on Dake Lake. As a result, Dave has extensive knowledge of the Chain O' Lakes area.

In addition to being an Alderman in the City of Waupaca, Dave is involved in many youth related activities including coaching within the City of Waupaca recreational baseball league each spring and summer. Dave and his wife are also the owners of Ye Olde Firehouse Apartments, a senior HUD subsidized apartment building located on North Main Street in downtown Waupaca.

LaDonna Sonntag

Greetings! My name is LaDonna Sonntag. The past two years in real estate I have worked to combine residential real estate sales with my ten years experience in professional interior and architectural design. I work in design planning, construction and consulting on both residential and commercial projects. My background in professional interior design is a huge benefit to my real estate career. I am excited to have the opportunity to use both of these talents with Shambeau & Thern Real Estate.

My Husband Tom and I have called Waupaca area and the beautiful Crystal River home for the past 18 years and are active and committed to our community. We have one son, two beautiful grand- daughters (which are the delight of our lives). Our loyal pets include two dogs, Gus and Bernie and one fat arrogant cat Ariel.

If you have had your house on the market and have not been successful in negotiating a sale, it is time to talk! My professional expertise, accountability and my diversity in service is unique and fundamental to our business. As a recipient of many awards for my work in both residential and commercial projects, I remain active with my Alma Mater UWSP occasionally judging student work competitions and participate in functions raising money for the College, students and the Arts.

Sellers, the smallest improvement in a homes presentation can increase its appeal to buyers. It can be as simple as painting, rearranging furniture or adding new carpet. It is a fact; that homes that are "Designed to Sell" do so, at a higher price and with less days on the market. I am proud to say that two of my projects on the Chain sold at record high prices.

Buyers can benefit from my background as I am able to recognize the potential a property may possess and can share a vision for what options could be realized.

Let me help you prepare your home to show to its best advantage. I look forward to putting my experience and strong work ethic to work for you. "Designed to Sell" service is available to YOU as part of your listing service.

Sally Mishler

I grew up on a small farm in Northeast Wisconsin where I developed my hard work ethic. After high school, I accepted a position with Krause Publications in Iola, which gave me my first experience working with the public and developing customer service skills. After starting my family I went to work at the Waupaca Foundry, introducing me to the developing world of computer operations. My days at the Foundry began at 4:00 a.m. Because the hours were hard on the family after four years my husband Clifford built a bar and restaurant of which I managed for nine years. It was during this time a Realtor friend identified me as someone with great potential for success in Real Estate market. I followed her advice and obtained my Brokers license in 1989. The result has been a very rewarding career. It has been very interesting selling some of the same homes two and three times. Working with my daughter Sharon Thern has been especially wonderful. We make a great team. It is exciting locating new homes for families and the relationships we build along the way. Helping them comfortably through the steps one of the largest purchases they will likely ever make is a pleasant experience for everyone. A successful closing brings great satisfaction. Our family consists of three daughters and ten grandchildren. We know what it takes to obtain and maintain a comfortable home. When I sell Real Estate I treat our clients/customers the way I would like to be treated. This is so important. Nothing can beat good service and constant communication. Buying or selling your home can be very stressful. Let me share my years of experience with you! Service is my promise.
